Visitation Team

In the parable of the Sheep and Goats, one of the ways Jesus described those blessed by his Father was to say, “I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” (Matthew 27:36).

An important ministry is praying for and visiting those who are sick or in need. This might mean those in the hospital, in a nursing home, housebound, or just someone who could use a little extra prayer and an encouraging word. After some initial training, people can serve as their schedule allows.
